Data we collect

When you use the contact or journal subscription forms, we collect the name, email address, engagement interest, optional deadline note, and message you provide. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Cookie data is described in our cookies notice.

Purposes and legal bases

We process enquiry data to respond to scoping requests and fee questions for audits for fintech engagements, based on steps prior to a contract or our legitimate interest in answering professional enquiries. Analytics cookies, if accepted, help us understand which pages are useful. Essential cookies support security and basic site function.

Retention

Contact form messages are retained for up to twenty-four months unless an engagement follows, in which case records move under the engagement file retention schedule (typically seven years for working-paper related correspondence). Subscription emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated within ninety days.

Recipients

We use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. If a prospective engagement requires sharing your enquiry with a named engagement partner, that sharing stays inside our practice.

International transfers

Our primary operations are in Taiwan. If a processor stores data outside Taiwan, we assess transfer safeguards appropriate to the destination and the nature of the data, and we limit transfers to what is necessary to operate the website or respond to you.

Your rights

Subject to applicable Taiwan personal data protection rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise rights, email hello@datasecurecloud.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent authority in Taiwan.

Children

This site is intended for business enquiries related to professional audit services. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this notice as our practices or legal requirements change. The date at the top will be revised accordingly.
