About

A small audit practice built for fintech calendars

Granary Audit & Assurance sits in Penghu and works with payment, lending, and e-money teams across Taiwan. We chose a deliberate niche: audits for fintech firms that need independent eyes on ledgers and control evidence before regulators or investors do.

Quiet office interior with long table and natural light

Why Granary

The name nods to careful storage — the old idea that value is kept accountable, counted, and released with a clear record. Fintech firms hold customer funds and fee income in motion; our work is to test whether the record matches the motion.

We are not a generalist high-street accountant trying on fintech language. Engagements are scoped around licensing dossiers, safeguarding accounts, investor data rooms, and year-end opinions that banks actually read.

How we work with clients

Partners stay close to fieldwork. You will not meet a relationship director and then only see juniors until the management letter arrives. Findings are written in plain language so operations can act, with enough technical precision for counsel and audit committees.

We respect Taiwan’s regulatory cadence and the practical limits of small finance teams. Deadlines are negotiated honestly; if a filing window is unrealistic for the evidence available, we say so in the scoping call.

  • Independence over convenient silence
  • Evidence over anecdote
  • Clear ownership for every open item
  • Respect for the people who keep the books day to day

Community and place

Our office address is in Penghu, and much of our client work happens with teams in Taiwan’s major cities. We travel when interviews or records require it, and we keep remote review disciplined so travel days are purposeful rather than performative.
